Vignette Photography Web & Branding

Vignette is an upscale photography house in Austin specializing in weddings and family photography. They were in need of a complete brand overhaul that would properly represent their market.

For the logo we worked on a fashion-inspired look utilizing a condensed serif font in classic black with san-serif support type. We're big fans of one-color logos which keep usability up, costs down and allow us to use the logo in various applications, such as the rubber stamp we created for use on envelopes and cards.

We wanted the website to be interesting and modern while also feeling very classic. Naturally, the photography is the primary focus of the site and is displayed in a sliding rotator that expands with the width of the browser making a never-ending band of images. Since the site is updated frequently, we used Wordpress as our content management system, integrating gallery management and eCommerce.
